Everyone, at one point in their life, wishes for immortality; the chance to live forever without consequences. It's a wish that's so simple that you neglect to realize the fate you set for yourself. This is a wish that Lucius Freeman desired. A once successful author who tried to rekindle the flame that lit up his career, as well as his marriage. He found himself trapped in a life that he had thought would turn out better. His once happy wife now expressed her disappointment with him and his inability to accept the truth about his career.
