This is the story of a robbery, a shooting and one teenager's struggle to cope with loss and grief. Jared West was 14 years old when his parents were murdered by a robber. He was shot and spent several weeks in the hospital trying to recover. Jared's recovery doesn't go smoothly and he's forced to deal with injuries and illnesses on top of his grief. Jared develops insomnia and anxiety issues because of the robbery. Will Jared be able to get these issues under control? Follow Jared as he deals with his loss, his grief and his developing anxiety.
