The foregoing is the adventure of two families who thought their lives would follow the familiar patterns of all their ancestors that had preceded them. They believed their lives would be lived with the environmental restrictions of their culture. But, real life changed the course of both families with the onset of World War II. Through circumstances that are beyond belief a Jewish family, whose native home was Germany, and a Redneck family from Mississippi became intertwined without their knowledge. As the story unfolds every familiar part of their own culture and environment became increasingly uncertain and unclear. The story revolves around the adjustments that each family had to make to endure the changes that love brought into their lives. Life is filled with secretes, some good, some not so good, and some that no one ever discovers and some that when discovered needs to be kept secret."It Is What It Is" was written and meant for those things in life that have no real explanation. Simply put "It Is What It Is".
