This is a collection of poems, written during the author's time away at university. The collection, titled Illusions, is about the deceptions and illusions perpetrated by people, about themselves, both to others and to themselves. From the author: These poems came to me at times when I was feeling intense emotion - and they helped me to name my feelings to an extent. At the time I wasn't able to write about my emotions or what I was going through in any other way - these poems were my sole outlet. Many of the poems may seem sepulchral; but to me the darkness of the words alleviated the darkness in my heart.?
