After going from hero to zero at school due to my breakup with the cheer squad captain after she'd gone off my best friend, my life had nose dived. I wasn't even sure who I was outside of that friendship group, so when I met Tilly the enigmatic green eyed new girl at school I became captivated by her. With my Mom having taken off out of town again, I wasn't even sure when or if ever she would come home. Her absence from my life meant I was free, I had a window opportunity to explore who I was because I no longer had the anxiety of taking care of my alcoholic mother. With Tilly's help I would discover my real self, which would reveal to me who my real friends were. Tilly and I clicked as if we'd grown up with each other, but I could never know just how much she was connected to my past, present and future but was I willing to accept that supernatural creatures were real when I'd been blind to them my whole life?!
