From the Heart Sr Robin Tate

I started writing when I was at 13 yrs old which is when I learned how to write poetry and discovered I enjoyed writing poetry. The words just flowed from my mind on to paper. That is when I knew that I was truly gifted in poetry. I fell in love with the words and knew that this would be the beginning of a lifetime of sharing my gift with my friends, family, and anyone who shared the same love I have. The first book I read was one written by the great Edger Allen Poe. His poetry was dark, yet deep in ways that got me more interested in other authors. As I grew older my style changed from simple to complex which created new paths in my world of poetry. My writings became more spiritual in nature as I grew older. Although times have changed and people have changed, poetry will never change. I welcome all people in our world to embrace the change knowing that our lives will become better when we all strive for peace, love, harmony, and forgiveness. My book, titled From the Heart, will showcase the many facets of my life and might just inspire a change for the better for our next generation.
