It's very true that Laws and Traditions are important in life. But laws alone won't be enough. Hearts must change. It won't change overnight. Social attitudes sometimes take generations to change. But if our religions are to work the way they should in our increasingly diverse communities, then we should know "You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view, until you climb into his skin and walk around in it," and "should always find out why people do what they do" before judging them. Blacks and other minority groups, refugees, the immigrants and the rural poor struggle for justice to the challenges that a lot of people in this world face as if they are not humans. They are stereotyped as law breakers, criminals, outsiders and less humans. Yet when they talk, we argue that's how our communities are designed, make common ground to compromise impossible. For too many of us, it's safer to retreat into our own bubbles, surrounded by people who look like us and share the same political outlook and never challenge our assumptions, makes this great sorting seem natural, even inevitable. Many have been killed because they had no one to defend them. Others though alive, face political and socio-economic injustice simply because they are non-natives of our lands, creating wars and political divisions among us which is never good.
