Sophocles
Sophocles (496-406 BC) is the second great Greek tragedians. He was more interested in the inner world of man, rather than the will of the gods in his life. The playwright Sophocles, scored 20 wins and has written more than 110 tragedies, of which survived only 7. Three of the most famous tragedies of Sophocles, which are devoted to the family of King Oedipus, became a classic example of the genre: Oedipus the King; Oedipus at Colonus; Antigone.
