This my story of how, through a life changing divorce, began an opportunity for healing and deliverance. Most of us operate on such levels of dysfunction that we usually have a hard time identifying the problem. Marriage was not something I understood for its original purpose, it just seems like it was what I was supposed to do, after all we had a child and we were already living together. Why not? Well, a marriage that was mostly motivated by sex and convenience was destined for ruins. We never took the time to plan our life we just lived without rules. Having kids without planning, caused us to put our life as a couple on the backburner, being forced to handle the situation at hand. One day, I looked up and wondered if we ever were compatible. My children were beginning to manifest from our daily dysfunction and I believed only God could save us. I never knew that it would result in divorce, but anything that doesn't have a sustainable foundation will not support the weight of life, and our foundation was weak. Experiencing the love of God was life altering. I felt motivated to live, it made me want to love on a greater level. I yearned to be in a healthy relationship, but my current situation was shipwrecked. Exit-us is a story of the process of God guiding me through the shedding of my old self and old life to the woman God called me to be and the life He promised. This book is a testimony of how God healed and shaped me into a better woman, mother and wife.
