Esther Smith is the mother of eight children (all under 14 years old), this keeps her very busy! Four of her children are diagnosed with autism, and another of them is in the process of getting a diagnosis. The Smith's are dealing with Developmental Delays (specifically Autism), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Bi-Polar and ADHD. Two of her children (whom she adopted) struggle with other learning and behavioral issues. Esther home-schools 6 of her 8 children (with her husband's help), and works from home creating art and writing. Her art and writing is primarily designed to face and conquer "real-life" issues her family has been struggling with.
