Before she could utter anything else, he pressed his hand against her mouth and struck the knife hard into her stomach. Once, twice, thrice.... The darkness pervaded into her eyes.




She fell on the bed mumbling, "Sameer.... Sameer....." he started pulling out the ornaments stuck under her body.




Vasudha gathered all her strength and blurted out, "Aalambh." Her eyes widened in terror laden surprise when she said again, "Aalambh."




But what is the meaning of 'Aalambh'? Why was Vasudha saying it again and again?
