One starry evening in January, Oma spends the wee hours of the morning with her grandson, Jude. Oma talks and sings about the heavenly lights that God has created to shine. Together they watch God's glorious sunrise over the ocean, and Oma tells Baby Jude that he has been created with a light to shine in this world as well.

"Jude Shine" is dedicated to families, particularly grandparents, who are encouraged to use their own names throughout the story. "Jude Shine" is a declaration to this world that every child has a purpose and a light of their own to shine!
