These are ten totally unconnected short stories springing from a lifetime of adventures of the author. A defense attorney in El Paso represented an indigent client in federal court and refused to accept payment. He explained, "It's what we do. We help one another." That is what joins these stories. The pictures on the front and back covers were taken nearly one hundred years apart, but each shows a protective older sibling. "It's what we do. We help one another."
