This is a book about the amazing love, mercy and healing that is available to us from our Heavenly Father and his beloved son Jesus Christ. This book highlights the role of the Holy Spirit in our connection with God, and how the gifts that are bestowed upon us can help others and glorify God. Through the trials of 3 women all connected by God's hand, testimonies of love, forgiveness and healing are told. The message is simple: God is love and he wants to lavish his love upon us, His children. Turning to him earnestly can change our lives on this earth and beyond if we allow Him to become a real part of our lives. The book talks about miracle healings, but also suffering and why some who ask for prayers to be answered in a certain way do not get their answers right away or in the manner they desire. Trusting in God to answer each prayer perfectly and within His time frame allows us to receive special graces and blessings from God which helps us grow spiritually and become closer to the Lord. The testimonies in the book are real people and are true. God's lessons are illustrated in this book and are meant to open up the hearts of those reading the book and assist them on their own spiritual journeys which can shine the light of goodness on all of God's creation. Leah Bickel was born in London Ontario Canada. She migrated to the United States as a child. She was married to Nick Bickel 48 years ago and converted to Catholicism at that time. She was raised in a Christian Baptist family. She had her own business and designed jewelry. She is an artist and enjoys painting. She enjoys her grandchildren and family, now that she is retired in Mississippi. Christina Della Nebbia-Arevalo grew up in Iowa in a loving Christian home. She was raised in the Methodist Church and converted to the Catholic faith 23 years ago. She is a licensed psychologist in private practice treating individuals with varying mental health issues. After witnessing the miracle healings of herself, her daughter and her friend Leah, the book was written. Christina is married to Jaime Arevalo and they live in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex. They enjoy playing tennis together, working out, traveling, traveling and cooking together.
