La calidad de los Sistemas de Información viene condicionada por la calidad de las personas que crean, desarrollan, y los explotan; la calidad de los proyectos que se utilizan para crear los sistemas, los servicios y soportar los procesos de negocio; y la calidad de los sistemas informáticos que, a su vez, dependerá en buena parte de la calidad del software (Description in English below). La presente obra reúne diferentes aspectos de calidad relacionados con estos elementos, ofreciendo una panorámica actual y completa sobre diversos modelos y estándares para lograr sistemas de información de calidad, combinando el rigor científico con la experiencia práctica. Description in English: The software industry is almost seventy years old. In this period, it has made significant progress in the creation of more sophisticated programming languages, more mature development processes, and the applications that are currently being built are more advanced. However, the demand for software by our society has grown faster than the industry's ability to produce quality software, and the poor quality of computer systems has cost a lot of money and displeasure to governments and companies. This work brings together different aspects of quality-related topics about these different elements, offering a current and complete overview of various models and standards that must be followed to achieve quality information systems, combining scientific rigor with practical experience.
