CHASING PLASTIC is a young adult fiction sports story that is a fast-paced read for teenaged readers, written with both hesitant and avid readers in mind. Despite her difficulties embracing the game, Kate ultimately finds the support and compassion she needs to get through her hardest challenges with her new teammates.
