Shawn is an average high school student, his grandpa raised him since he was young, he runs a Tai Chi dojo, and he refuses to let Shawn slack off on his Tai Chi training. One day Shawn's entire life changes. His grandpa leaves him in the care of Rudy, a total stranger, who shows him the world he knows is a big fat lie. Now he must master his newfound skills and fight to survive against people hunting them down. To make matters worse: he has an urge to go save a girl from his dreams, who, Shawn isn't sure if real or not but he can't help feel the need save her. How he knows where she is and how to control his Ki as well as he can is a dark ancient mystery. Will Shawn and Rudy be able to survive their pursuers and each other as they try to uncover the mysteries of the world and Shawn?
