It is 1952 and something disastrous has happened. As Mitchell struggles to discover exactly what has occurred and where his son, Roundy is, other members of the McKennas also are terrified in this strange, changed world. As things begin to settle, Dakota will struggle to bridge a gap opened between him and old friends, Torrance will be juggling worry as she prepares to send two of her children off into the world, and an old flame will reappear to rattle a Family gathering. The 1950s are beginning to reveal a changing world that to the McKenna Family who has taken many changes in its stride. And it won't be the last time.
