This book started as a life lesson, born in the throes of parenting amidst a late night, frantic trip to the grocery store with a crying newborn, overtired toddler, a pregnant Mom and a frustrated Dad - all sleep-deprived and time-deprived, with Mom and Dad desperately trying to portray composure and conscious parenting. Perhaps leaving the kids at home would have been a better choice - but where would they think the food came from? how and why were particular foods chosen?
