Living on a ranch with her dad, Angel seems to lead the life of an ordinary fifteen-year-old girl. However, it is not long before homework and the school bully become the least of her worries. One day whilst out riding, Angel becomes enchanted by a beautiful white mare. The mare appears harmless, but, as she soon finds out, appearances can be deceptive. Without warning, Angel finds herself drawn into another world where startling discoveries are waiting to be made, and where danger lurks in every shadow. But before Angel can learn the truth, she must learn to survive.
