When Vivienne, a beautiful schoolgirl from Coventry, joins Mayflower Academy in mid-October, a chain of events - originating a thousand years before - are activated, with devastating consequences for all humanity. She meets and falls in love with David, a fellow student at the Academy, who saves her life by preventing an accident. David soon discovers strange things about Vivienne. He realises she is a princess of Cumbra which has existed, along with its rival kingdom Mallia, for twenty thousand years in a higher dimension, or plane of existence. On Halloween, matters come to a head, as a Mallian army of thousands of vampires, werewolves and demons attack Cumbra... Armed with his intelligence alone, can David rescue Cumbra, and his beloved Vivienne?
