Swimming with Salmon
Roderick Shaw
Roderick Shaw was born in the 1930s in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. This evocative, engaging collection of stories is packed full of tales from Rod's childhood, adolescence, and young adult life.
From summer holiday adventures camping and messing about in the River Severn to a brush with the law, to art school, the Welsh mountains, a trip to France, and life in London in the Swinging Sixties.
Swimming with Salmon provides a funny, thoughtful and descriptive window into the life experiences of a young man living through the drama and change of the mid-20th century.
