"It had gone by too fast. Not that I was worried about missing anything, I had been busy with other things. About forty years busy. Now, old dreams were popping up and starting to look better every day. Probably just daydreams.

Except daydreams usually didn't hang around for forty years.

Money could be a problem, too. But when wasn't it? We had a nice place, here, that took a lot of years to get the way we wanted it. I liked it a lot. I just wasn't ready to sit around on the porch and drink coffee for the rest of my life. Not yet, annyway.

This kind of adventure could be just the thing to give us a change in perspective. I was pretty sure of that.
