God is good and he draws us to himself for salvation. How we respond to that calling matters. The same holds true for us after we accept salvation. How we respond to God in our walk matters too. And this is the theme of the series, how we respond and interact with God, as he works in our lives. It's called sanctification. Grafted In, Becoming Family: A New Creation is just one story of how God works to draw people to himself. God wants a family. He had family on his heart from the beginning of creation. He created Adam and Eve to be family and family has been under attack from the beginning of time. That's the struggle in which we all share. And that's why Christ came to earth. He's the way out of the struggle. He's the way back to God's family. He's the provision, God's gift to us. God, as our Father, provided the answer to our struggle. His call goes out to all. Will you listen? Will you come to him? This series reveals how God enters the struggle with his children. How we respond to God is always a pivotal point in life. Will we come to him? If yes, then we are established as his child-through Christ. When we become his child, we have eternal life. That life begins now, on this side of heaven. But while here, how do we live on this side of heaven with him as our Father? Once his child, we are a new creation-the old is gone and the new has come. All mankind is and has been born through a mother and a father. There's no other way to get here. In that same way, there's no other way to enter into God's family but through being born again through the Spirit of God given to us by Christ-God's way back to himself. Through his gift of Christ, you become a new creation and are then grafted into God's family. Grafted In, Becoming Family: A New Creation is the first in the series that reveals just some of God's workings. The series will go on to highlight God's interaction with his children throughout their walk-this side of heaven.
