As women we like to be found in motion with hands ready for helping and hearts full of compassion for the hopeless, but what happens when our hands become restless and shackled, or worse busy for the sake of being busy as a way to run from what's going on inside our souls? What happens when this outward disposition becomes a sign that something has gone wrong deep within us? Perhaps an even better question is "what do we do once we become aware that our actions are nothing more then a mask?" I say we allow this awareness to become the moment we realize our need to be made whole. As you read "WHOLE" you will be taken on one woman's journey to becoming the best version of herself. Lauren was broken, said, "Yes," and did that over and over until she could stand in front of the mirror and be at peace with what she saw. What you will find in the following pages is that being "whole" is a continuous journey. You will never arrive at a magical destination where all things are perfect. You will, however, find out, just as Lauren found out and shares with us, that you will forever be on a journey to be better and to do better.
