This wouldn't be any ordinary cruise, Leanna knew that for sure. It wasn't every day that their military sector was allowed a mini-vacation. Leanna couldn't even remember what it was like not always being fully geared-up, rifle in hand. Well. She would still bring her rifle. The boarding day was finally here, after weeks of whispers in the base hallways about what stunts would be pulled off on the cruise; who would get together with who. Leanna and Rose, her best friend, playfully ignored the hushed whispers and occasional cat calls from the soldiers when they made their rounds through the hallways. They enjoyed the attention. Leanna was no prude. She was just looking to have a relaxing trip on the ocean and she wasn't looking for another serious relationship. Except maybe Jacob. Yes. Definitely Jacob. But his wife wouldn't be too happy.
