New Zealander Ken Ring is a household name in Ireland, and to farmers in Australia. His weather almanacs since 2007 have been accurately foretelling weather trends a year ahead in those countries and in NZ since 1999. As long-range consultant and presenter for Australia's largest TV network, Channel 7, Ken has appeared regularly on Australian screens. Ken received trenchant criticism from powerful political forces in New Zealand, accusing him of panicking people with forecasts of more earthquakes 6 months after the Christchurch earthquake of Sept 2010.
