Scenic Xitang Francis Adel

This photo book shows the pictures of the scenic town of Xitang, a suburb of Jiaxing City in Zhejiang Province of China. Pictures of Jiaxing, especially the South Lake, with its enchanting natural landscape, favored by emperors since the Tang Dynasty are also included. Brief historical information about Xitang, was also provided to help readers appreciate the context of the pictures. The pictures shown in the book were taken in May 2005. Hence, it is hoped that it would provide a good visual representation of the conditions of the tourist attractions in the ancient city, at the time the pictures were taken. The pictures included in the book are those of the places of interest in Xitang, including the ancient lanes, covered corridors, canals with different boats, and old Chinese architecture of the antique buildings. Some pictures of the South Lake in Jiaxing were also included in the book.
