It's been 10 years since the humans were defeated at the War of Tears. Now, the last of the human race must spend the remainder of their days in a Compound run by monstrous humanoids known as The Wardens. Yearning to be free, the humans form a rebellion with Kara, one of the last humans able to use magic, as their secret weapon. But after a failed mission, the resistance is thrown into chaos and doubt. Kara will be forced to make a choice, take command of the resistance and wage a desperate war against endless legions of Wardens, or disband the group and allow The Administrator of the Wardens to convert the Humans into a new type of evil the world isn't ready for.
