When someone has encountered a hurtful experience in life, it can be a devastating blow to our emotional health. However, as difficult as it is, when forgiveness is applied to the experience, a healing process can begin that eventually gives us the freedom to carry on with life. We don't have to allow the hurt to continue its control over us while trying to hide the pain in the back of our memory. We have a choice. It is my hope that perhaps while reading instances of emotional pain suffered in my life, some of the positive results may become a means of help and healing for you.
