Martin works for an insurance company and leads a boring existence with an unloving wife. In a world where different realities cross paths, he is searching for meaning in life as he finds the inner child within him. Followed by a guardian angel and plagued by his mother's phone calls from beyond the grave, Martin seeks out the son his dead wife tells him she bore, and discovering his son to be an artist who can draw alternate realities, begs him to recreate a childhood holiday. As he dies on this last journey, he is reborn into his favorite memory, six years old and on a beach with his parents, where everything is right with the world.
