This book includes introduction to HPLC and HPTLC technique for estimation of drugs and ICH guidelines parameters for the method validation. Apart from this it contains HPLC and HPTLC method for the estimation of balofloxacin in bulk and tablets. These methods are stability indicating. Force degradation study showed that balofloxacin moderately degradable in acidic and oxidative conditions and relatively stable to alkaline, neutral hydolysis, thermal and photolytic stress.
