A Novel Workforce Training Model for Lean Manufacturing: Training to Be Lean Subramanium Arunachalam

Lean is a demanding concept, yet, there is no effective training model established to allow the companies to train their workers appropriately thus to implement Lean successfully. Original contributions to the knowledge of this thesis are the developed training model (WOTMLM) which aids the manufacturing companies in implementing Lean Manufacturing successfully and the expert mathematical system which supports to organise a low cost training programme. Manufacturing companies which employ those developed concepts will be able to enjoy the full benefit of Lean Manufacturing. Moreover, the flexibility of the WOTMLM enables to enhance the contributions to any sector or size of manufacturing companies.
