Cantar de Mio Cid Anonimo

Cantar de Mio Cid tells the story of Cid, a low ranking noble and not the member of high nobility as the Roderici history suggests. He suffers in exile after being slandered by the people antagonizing him with the king over matters of Sevillan outcasts. From there he travels to different places to fight for the rights of other low ranking people and defeating the kings, counts and other high ranking officials that oppress them.
