Everyday, thousands of people take their last breath and slip into eternity. We may not be aware of all of them, but the reality of death is present every day.

We are all aware that life and death exist (Ecclesiastes 3: 1-2). What we may not be aware of is what happens to us after we die.

Is death the end of a person's life, or is there any assurance that there will be life after death?

Scientists have unique explanations for the origins of our universe and the evolution of our human bodies, but they are unable to provide satisfactory explanations for our continued existence after death.

The Word of God (Bible) guarantees that there will be life after death; God promises that life will return through the resurrection of the dead; this is how humanity can receive the gift of eternal life (1 Thessalonians 4: 13-17)
