The Visitor Sj Hinkle

Welcome to the Land of Tyke. This land has hundreds of acres of fertile land north of the Equator where currently no humans live. There are two main settlements here; Tykewood Shire and Cypress Shire. Between the two settlements is a very large open place they call The Land in Between. Inhabitants of the Land of Tyke include one of the nicest species you will ever meet, called the Surobnik. In our story they are mostly called suros. Suros are cousins to fairies and can live about a thousand years. They have four wings and fly by fluttering their wings similar to a dragonfly. When they fly, their wings drop off sparkles that show the color of the family they are from. All suros enjoy music, travel, knowing nature, and fun times. Besides being able to fly, they can see in the dark, tell time by looking at the sky, and enjoy a type of travel called ethereal travel. This includes time travel. Sometimes suro adventures don't take them very far. In this adventure, our friends share a story of the time when they only traveled to the edge of their shire. We see how being kind will never be forgotten by the one who received the kindness.
