The account of "A Rather British Lockdown" focuses on the more gallant and comical aspects of life and love in the 21st century. People's reactions to the ebb and flow of the pandemic and its social consequences can be contradictory but understandable. This work aims not to ignore the plight of those who have suffered tragedy or loss. The intention is to amuse by shining a light on some of the glowingly bizarre antics of the British public. It is with sincere hope that some of you will be able to look back on 2020 with the astonishment it deserves. The descriptions given in this account merely show the resilience of Britain in this global crisis. Personally it is impossible to comment on the experiences of our foreign neighbours. It is however easy to believe that it's times like these when we can all learn from each other. Better still - laugh together!!
