When Evelyn got arrested, she had no idea she would be serving her time in a research facility in California being tortured. Everything seems normal at first- until she starts having strange hallucinations while being experimented on. Her only allies are another inmate whose paranoia could get them all killed, and an employee of the research facility who tries to help her adjust to her new life. She soon discovers that everything she's ever known is just a centuries-old lie.
