Searching For You
Rita Hestand
Beth Peters ran away from her home in Missouri to Fort Ellis in the Territories. Her father was a Colonel there. But she hadn't realized there was a huge war about to happen with The Sioux. Custer had raided a village with only women and children, killing all of them. So Sitting Bull was on rampage for revenge. When Beth arrived her father told her he was sending her home until things quieted down, and Noah, an Indian scout would see she got home safely. Beth was told many times by her no account stepfather that Indians were savages and no good. But Beth would soon begin a journey of her own, a journey of freedom, a journey of discovery, and a journey that would change her life forever.
