My love for poetry is beyond a compilation of words. It's a revelation of the innermost part of me. I have fallen in love with this beautiful art in my early teens. I clearly remember the first poem I wrote in grade eight, it spoke about perilous times that will come. It had a tremendous effect on its hearers. I must confess that I did poorly in English Literature, I detested the subject. The way it was taught. The complexity of some poems that had me saying, I don't have a clue what this Poet is talking about.

I have read many beautiful pieces of poetry. I guess that's one of the primary reasons why I started this amazing art. I really appreciate the work of King David and King Solomon. Their writings have spanned across many centuries, yet they are as fresh as the first time they were written. Every time I read their writings, I can hear their emotions being brought to life, their respect for God, His goodness, and tender mercies, beautifully expressed in awe simplicity. "Spilled Ink" is no different. It is a collection of poetry and quotes that center around my love for God, humanity, and life in general. I want to take you on a poetic exposé, where the thoughts of my mind are thoroughly expressed. In a language so simple, and beautiful. Where rhythm meets verse, line by line. Come with me!
