It was nearing midnight when the two finally decided to wrap it up and go home, but Suzanne was sad that she had to say goodbye to her friend. She enjoyed hanging out with Mari and looked forward to spending more time with her. As they stood at the front door of the restaurant and waited for Mari's ride, Suzanne wrapped her arms around her taller friend in a parting hug. The smell of the other's sweet perfume gently entered into her nostrils and she inhaled deeply, the scent of freshly cut roses a pleasant distraction to the restaurant's overpowering smells of food.
