Autumn leaves is a prose poetry book. It is a journey of falling. The pieces of writing express the dark thoughts that are often left unsaid and the dark emotions of self hate, sadness, loneliness, anger, betrayal and hurt. It is at times an in-body experience and at times written as if the soul itself is a spectator. Autumn leaves are a symbol of death and sadness, of things lost over time. They represent melancholy and loss. The dark shades, the end of instances, emotions and things. The book takes the reader through a journey of the ways of falling and the places where you fall. It is the inevitable darkness and demise that creeps upon all things.
