After losing her husband, Corinne uproots her life and moves back to Dylen, AZ to take over the family-owned bakery. As she feels life has settled down, she gets a call that sends her down the path to motherhood. The more time goes by, Corinne is forced with the realization that she's in this new life alone and misses having someone to share it with. But, as fear and loneliness cloud her vision, she begins to second guess every decision she's ever made. Alex has thrown himself into his construction company since losing his wife and young daughter in a tragic accident several years prior. Working himself to the bone was his way of coping but Mary, his mother, never gave up on him remarrying and giving her more grandchildren. Alex has no desire to entertain the thought until she falls ill and it's then he realizes just how empty his life really is. Both Corinne and Alex have been trying to move on with their lives the best they knew how but neither could shake the feeling they were missing out on something more. With a little help from above, these two worlds seem to repeatedly collide leaving Alex and Corinne dancing around false truths and an attraction they aren't sure what to do with. Can they overcome their tragic pasts and find the second chances at love and family they're both longing for?
