I wrote this book for all of us childlike adults ... Who are equally excited to grow up ... And not to grow up ... My hope is that these words ... Will open up the hearts and minds ... Of both the young and old ... In age and in spirit ... Much like the world around us ... The community of characters in this book ... Tell stories to one another ... And share the truths ... That exist in the tension ... Between the simplicity of curiosity ... And the complexity of "reality" ... This book is for everyone like me ... Somewhere in between
