He was not working for the rebels, but for the Death Traders. The evil ones. They capture and give you a choice. To die would be a blessing, but they do not kill you. The worst kind of torture known followed them everywhere they went. You joined them or you did not. If you did not, then you were never seen again...well not in one piece. They were also known to trade. Women mostly. And elders. They came after me once. I had a feeling that it would happen again. Had he told them about me? Had they seen our picture together? I cannot quite believe he would be that dumb. No. He never was dumb. Well, except when he decided to join the Death Traders over the rebels.
