Poor number Seven was getting teased by the joke, "Seven ate Nine" because everyone counts by saying "seven eight nine". Even though Seven was upset, he came up with other ways of counting. There is more than one way to count and more than one way to resolve a conflict. "Seven Ate Nine" is a children's book that shows the concept of skip counting, which is one of the important foundations to understanding multiplication. This picture book aims to inspire young learners' creativity in math learning and to provide parents and teachers with a resource for teaching numeracy.
