8 year old Kiesha saw people gathered on the television with signs. They where passionate about what they were saying. Some people were friendly and supporting each other. Then she saw they were being attacked by people in uniform. She wanted to know what a protest what was going on and why were they being attacked for saying Black Lives Matter. This book fosters age appropriate conversations with children about social justice. It discusses the impact of social injustice on children and signs and symptoms of potential behavioral/mental health impact.
