We do not always understand why things happen or why we have to endure hardships. Those hardships back us into a corner with so many questions- Why me? Why did God allow this to happen to me? Why didn't anyone come to my rescue? Why? Why? Why?As we continue to live, we realize that those things were necessary for our growth. The abuse...the addictions...the betrayal...the heartbreak...the hurt...the molestation...the sickness...the divorce....did not just happen TO us. It happened FOR us. While those things hurt us, they equally helped us. IT WAS NECESSARY is our story of restoration, healing, survival, and redemption. We are testaments that God never leaves nor forsakes us. We pray that our stories encourage you, strengthen your FAITH, and serve as a reminder that no matter what you face, you WILL survive.
