Guitar Scales Unleashed - The Workbook Nan Mogar

This workbook is meant to accompany the book "Guitar Scales Unleashed". This is the perfect written practice book if you are struggling with memorizing scales or constantly referring to scale tabs and diagrams. Included within this book are several practical exercises to help you decode scales using the NANDI method. The CAGED system which stands for the five open chord shapes is a useful method to connect scale patterns up and down the guitar neck. You will train to plot the major, natural minor, pentatonic and blues scales within the five CAGED shapes using the primary interval pattern of fourths which encompasses all strings. This approach will equip you to read any scale pattern effortlessly and less dependent on memorized scale shapes. The exercises are designed to help you with many aspects of guitar scale recognition, the foremost being interval recognition. The NANDI method employs many unique shortcuts to help you locate any interval within any scale without endless memorization of scale shapes. You will also become proficient at choosing the right CAGED shape from any interval you choose to start a scale from. Developing the ability to visualize the intervals and tritones within the seven modes of the major scale is another aspect of scale training you will receive with written practice.
