A son decides he must end his father's life with dignity, no matter what the cost. Growing up happens in unpredictable bursts and realizations incomprehensible until years afterwards. There is an incident, a relationship and then an acceptance. The final stages of adolescence and the beginning of adulthood seem alternately static and infused with uncontrollable energy. The characters and events of "The Acceptances" center on a single neighborhood, where everyone has what they want, but perhaps not what they need"The Acceptances" is about the shifting ground between child and parent, among friends, and between maturation and mortality.
